Made to Measure Curtains
With so many options, curtains can range from traditional to contemporary by varying the use of fabric, types of heading and use of borders and trims. Making a choice between all these options should be made ‘taking in to account’ the end use and style that you require.
My curtains are made to last. Using traditional and modern sewing techniques, all of my curtains are handmade, have weighted hems and locked seams.
Headings range from machine Gathered, Cottage and Wave, to handsewn Single, Double or Triple Pinch Pleat, Euro Pleat, Cartridge and Goblets.
Working
WITH ME
CONSULTATION
An initial phone call / visit to discuss your requirements. Fabrics, Curtain Style and Curtain Poles or Tracks will all be considered. Measurements will be taken of each window or space to be dressed.
QUOTE
It may take a few goes, but a quote will be drawn up on what has been discussed. The details will be based on the initial consultation and any ongoing correspondence. Once the quote is agreed in writing and the initial payment is made, orders will be placed for the fabrics, poles etc and the process will start.
MAKING, FITTING and FINISHING
Made to order, my soft furnishings are each handmade to the highest standard and are made to last using traditional and modern sewing techniques. Once completed, items are checked and packed ready for delivery. I am able to arrange, if required, fitting of the pole or track using a professional fitter. I can then hang, hand steam and dress them in situ so that they are looking their best!
How can I order?
Orders can be made initially by contacting myself via e.mail or by phone call. From here the consultation process will begin.
Can I provide my own Measurements?
Yes, but these will only be accepted on the understanding that any incorrect measurements are not the responsibility of Corinna Vincent Design. A ‘How to measure for Curtains’ pdf will be provided to help avert any problems. Re-makes due to wrong sizes are explained in the T&C’s.
Fitting and Hanging
All Curtains can be delivered ready for you to hang, with guides to help. Alternatively, a professional fitter and myself can do the work for you! This will not be included in the making and will be quoted for separately.
Do you deliver?
I can deliver within Fife, or have delivery arranged to other areas.
What is your exchange policy?
All items are made to order, therefore there is no exchange policy. Faulty items are covered in Terms and Conditions.
Where is your store?
My Workroom is by Appointment Only and is located 1.5miles from Upper Largo, Fife.
