Order / Cancellation Policy
- CVD will provide you with an estimated quotation for your items which is valid for 3 months from the date of the estimate.
- Confirmation of the order must be in writing by either email or a signed copy of the quotation. A deposit, which will be full payment for the goods to be ordered and 20% of the make-up cost must be paid before work can commence. In the event of cancellation by you, after these orders are placed, this deposit is non-refundable.
- On acceptance of the estimate, this will constitute a legally binding contract for you to be provided with the stated items and for you to pay the balance within 28 days of final Invoice. The balance may differ from the quotation as the list is not exhaustive and may include other items which will be itemised and agreed upon at the time of ordering during the process.
- All bespoke items are handmade and/or ordered to your specifications, as such these are neither returnable nor refundable unless faulty.
- Estimated completion times are normally 8-12 weeks, but these will be advised at the time of confirmation of the order.
- Please note all measurements are agreed in the estimate, and if for any reason these are altered, please notify CVD by e.mail as soon as possible to ensure the products being made will still fit.
Guarantees
- If any issues are found with the quality of the work or materials, please notify CVD as soon as possible to arrange rectifying the issue. A repair or replace can be discussed if items are deemed faulty for up to 3 months after the completion of the work.
- If items are deemed damaged due to incorrect usage or care, remedial work will be undertaken by CVD at a mutually agreed cost.
- Nothing contained within these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Miscellaneous
- Supply of your own fabric can be arranged. CVD will not take responsibility for the quality of the supplied material, or any flaws that are in the finish. However, these issues can be discussed prior to work commencing.
- Measurements taken by the client and put in writing, specifying the exact finished sizes, will be accepted. Any errors that arise because of incorrect measurements will not be the fault of CVD and may result in a remake being required. Any costs must be borne by the client.
- If you (the client) decide to fit curtains or blinds yourself, the products will be labelled with the agreed location of each item, to assist you. CVD is not liable for faults or fittings arising from such fittings.
- All Curtains and Soft Furnishings must not to be wet washed. Cleaning should only be undertaken by a dry-cleaning specialist but please note this may also cause shrinkage.
- All goods remain the property of CVD until such time as the buyer makes payment in full for said goods.
